Standard Liability

Hippie Camper's rental charge includes a Standard Liability of:

for drivers 21 to 75 years - $2,500
for drivers 18 to 20 years - $3,500

The Standard Liability can be reduced by purchasing one of the following Reduction Options:

Reduction Option 1

Liability $1,200 = $12.00 per day for drivers 21 to 75 years
Liability $1,200 = $22.00 per day for drivers 18 to 20 years

The maximum amount payable for this Option per rental is:
$600 i.e. 50 day rentals for drivers 21 to 75.
$1100 i.e. 50 day rentals for drivers 18 to 20.

Reduction Option 2

Liability $100 = $20.00 per day for drivers 21 to 75 years
Liability $250 = $30.00 per day for drivers 18 to 20 years

The maximum amount payable for this Option per rental is:
$1000 i.e. 50 day rentals for drivers 21 to 75.
$1500 i.e. 50 day rentals for drivers 18 to 20.

Bond

Payment of the Bond is only accepted by credit card. The amount of the Bond will be debited to the credit card account immediately. An administration fee equal to the merchant surcharge applies.

The Bond is fully refundable when the vehicle is returned to the correct location on time, is full of fuel and all other terms of the Rental Contract have been complied with. If there is damage to the vehicle on its return, the Bond will be used to cover the cost of such damage up to the amount of the relevant Liability. However, if the terms of the Rental Contract are breached and the Bond is insufficient to cover the damage then any extra cost will be charged.
