Excess Insurance Cover

** Only Drivers between the ages of 21 - 75 are eligible to drive vehicle. **

Standard Excess

All KEA Campers vehicles come with comprehensive insurance cover. A
standard excess of AU$ 5,000 (AU$7,500 from 1/4/09)) applies in the event of any damage to either our vehicle or third party property. The renter will also be fully liable for replacing or repairing damaged windscreens and tyres.
Standard Excess: AU$5,000. (AU$7,500 from 1/4/09)

Excess Reduction 1 - Bronze Cover

Excess Reduction 1 at AU$25 per day or AU$ 30 per day (4WD) will reduce the
excess for any damage to either vehicle or third party property to a maximum of
AU$ 2,000. The renter, however, will be fully liable for replacing or repairing
damaged windscreens and tyres.
Reduction 1 - Bronze Cover Excess: AU$2,000 (same from 1/4/09)
The total insurance charge is limited to a maximum of 50 days or AU$1,250 and (AU$1,500 for 4WD).

Excess Reduction 2 - Silver Cover

Excess Reduction 2 at AU$35 per day or AU$ 40 per day (4WD) will waive the
excess for any vehicle and third party property damage and the cost of replacing
or repairing windscreens and tyres.
Reduction 2 - Silver Cover Excess: ZERO $0.

Bond

Standard A security bond of AU$ 5,000 (AU $7,500 from 1/4/09) will be taken on vehicle collection. The security bond can be paid by cash, traveller's cheques or credit card. Should the bond be paid by credit card the amount will be debited to your account immediately, any currency fluctuations are not the responsibility of KEA Campers. The bond is fully refundable on return of the vehicle to the agreed location, on the agreed date, with no damage incurred to the KEA Campers vehicle or third party property and providing the toilet cassette and waste water tank have been emptied and no items are lost or damaged.

Reduction 1 - Bronze A security bond of AU$ 2,000 can be paid by cash, traveller's cheques or credit card: a manual imprint of the credit card will be taken. The bond is fully refundable on return of the vehicle to the agreed location, on the agreed date with no damage incurred to the KEA Campers vehicle or third party property and providing the toilet cassette and waste water tank have been emptied and no items are lost or damaged.

Reduction 2 - Silver A security deposit of AU$250 (AU$500 from 1/04/09) is payable at the time of pickup to ensure that the vehicle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date in clean condition and the toilet cassette and waste water tank has been emptied and no items are lost or damaged.

Standard: AU$5,000 (AU$7,500 from 1/4/09)

Reduction 1 - Bronze: AU$2,000 (same from 1/4/09)

Reduction 2 - Silver: AU$250 (AU$500 from 1/4/09)
